Hepler Communication is a woman-owned consulting, coaching, and training service. Shelley Hepler

Shelley is the principal and founder of Hepler Communication. She understands that communication is the foundation for every successful organization. Her work with clients includes everything from facilitating organizational change to one-on-one executive coaching to leading workshops.
After more than 20 years as a program manager and staff development trainer, Shelley turned her focus to what she most loves – equipping others to be successful.

Her services identify and maximize organizational and individual communication strengths and providing pathways for mitigating weaknesses. Creativity and empathy power her efforts to customize practical solutions that foster leadership and deliver impact.
With years of directing, advising, teaching, and speaking in both the private and non-profit sectors, Shelley knows firsthand what organizational leaders face. Partnering with executives from tiny startups to established companies, she came to understand how administrators, teams, and individuals really work. From these experiences, she honed her skills in workplace communication systems, managerial competencies, and facilitating change.
Shelley takes pride in her unique ability to empathize and genuinely understand each client’s situation. She partners with professionals bringing their collective talent, experience, creativity, and commitment to developing leadership excellence, coaching for focus and accountability, and interactive team-building activities and presentations. All are innovative and dynamically tailored expressly for the client.
Shelley holds a Master of Communication and Leadership Studies from Gonzaga University. She completed her Ph.D. studies in Organizational Communication at the University of Kansas. She is a visiting assistant professor at Rockhurst University, where teaches undergraduate and graduate communication classes and business presentations. She is a sought-after advisor and speaker on leadership, change, identity, and dignity in the workplace.
